Good morning,
May I tell you a story?
I am a man with as many sides as a d20. Screenwriter, actor, producer, pirate, professional wrestler, graphic designer, UX designer, illustrator, food critic, cartoonist, editor, farm boy, intellectual, dungeon master, wine connoisseur, craft beer enthusiast, caffeine addict—I am all of these. But most importantly—
I am a storyteller.
After trying my hand at everything, I always come back to story. The power and magic of the written word. The precision of the screenplay. The chaotic joy of the comic. These are where I have felt most comfortable. To take an audience away from their humdrum lives and guide them through a world of my creation, where they can safely dwell, as in a dream, and experience the range of emotions that humanity has locked within its breast.
When people told themselves their past with stories, explained their present with stories, foretold the future with stories, the best place by the fire was kept for the storyteller.
